  • What identification do I need to hire equipment?

To hire our equipment, you will need to provide tow forms of identification. The first being a copy of a current driver’s licence for identification purposes, the second being a copy of a credit card which will be stored on file for the duration of the hire.

  • What areas do you service?

We offer machine and equipment hire in metro and regional areas across Victoria and South Australia.

  • How and when do I pay?

Payment for the expected hire period must be paid upfront. Should your job run shorter than initially expected, the remaining balance will be refunded back to the card provided at the commencement of the hire.

  • Does HEXHire offer credit accounts?

Credit accounts are available with 30-day payment terms as standard. Anyone who wishes to open an account with HEXHire can download our account forms from our website which can then be filled out and sent back to our accounts team for processing.

  • What is the minimum hire period?

The minimum hire period offered by HEXHire is for a 24-hour period. That being said, special rates may apply for weekend hires or public holidays.

  • How do I get the right equipment for my job?

To ensure you are getting the right equipment for your job, you can get in contact with one of our friendly team members. With a combined experience of 80 plus years in the hire and excavation industry, we have the knowledge as to would be the best machine for your job. In addition to services over the phone, we can also offer on site inspections to help ensure your hiring experience goes smoothly.

  • How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend that you book 1-2 days in advance of your job to ensure your equipment will be ready and available on site as required. That being said, should you have a last minute job that needs attending to, we will always attempt to provide you with a solution as soon as possible so don’t hesitate to ask!

  • What do I do if the equipment I hired breaks down?

If you run into a situation on site where one of our machines is experiencing mechanical or hydraulic issues, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! With a full team of inhouse mechanics, we are able to attend site promptly to rectify any issues you may be having. All you need to do is give us a call and we can organise a technician to attend site as soon as possible.

  • Are there any extra charges other than the hire rate and transportation costs?

At the commencement of hire, a security bond of a predetermined amount is taken upfront should there be any additional charges to your hire. These charges can vary from additional cleaning, fuels or damages. If further charges are required to be taken out of this bond, notification will always be provided before doing so.
